Credit System
AI Gateway uses a credit-based billing system. Credits are consumed per API request based on the model used and the number of tokens processed. Each credit is worth $0.01 (1 cent) of API usage.
How credits are consumed
Input tokens:Billed at the model's input price per million tokens
Output tokens:Billed at the model's output price per million tokens
Credit markup: A 2x markup is applied to the base model cost to calculate credit consumption (1 credit = $0.01)

Costs per million tokens for each model. Credits consumed include a 2x markup (1 credit = $0.01).
